About the Author

Ron “Grah Grah” Owens (on his grandfather's shoulder left) was born in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia, Canada. His father, John Thomas Owens, was a church planter, and as a result, the family lived throughout the eastern Canadian provinces before moving to Switzerland. Ron’s early interests were largely focused on ice hockey and track in which he won considerable recognition for his achievements in both. After returning to North America to further his studies, he cultivated his love for music as well. Ron met his wife, Patricia, in a music conservatory in Rochester, NY, and together they traveled in North America and many other countries as a music team. They have written many songs and several musicals that have been translated and performed in other languages. Ron is also the author of several biographies, books on worship, and an English/Russian language book of poetry published by Moscow’s Center for World Culture. Ron and Patricia have one son, Jeff, a daughter-in-law, Jessica, and two grandsons, Ethan and Evan.

About the Book

RON DUNN (1936—2001) was an international itinerate Bible teacher whose life still inspires many of today’s most influential pastors. In this new biography, fellow disciple Ron Owens passes along the spirit and passion of this man who, from his mother’s womb, was called to preach the Word of God.

You will learn this calling had to be worked out in the context of some of the highest peaks and deepest valleys a person can experience, from great success in ministry to the tragic suicide of Dunn’s son and a ten-year

battle with clinical depression that followed. Ultimately the grace of God expanded Dunn’s ministry further to many parts of the world.

This celebration of Ron Dunn’s life and mission includes special remembrances from acclaimed Christian leaders, illuminating experts from his best-selling books, abridged versions of his most popular sermons, and notes from his wife Kaye.
